Terms of use
These terms govern access to and use of the SaaS service Chronoo (“the Service”), published by the publisher of Chronoo (“we”, “the Publisher”). By creating an account or using the Service, you (“the User”, “you”) accept these terms.
Publisher: ACN Group Sàrl (company in formation), Chemin du Petit-Bâle 3, 1045 Ogens, Switzerland. UID number: pending. Contact: ask@chronoo.ch
1. Purpose of the Service
Chronoo lets you publish an appointment booking page, sync availability from connected calendars (CalDAV, Google, Microsoft Outlook, Infomaniak) and manage incoming bookings. The Service is offered in self-service mode: you configure your profiles, calendars and preferences without our intervention, except for occasional support.
2. Eligibility and account
- You must be of legal age and have capacity to contract.
- You agree to provide accurate information when registering.
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity from your account.
- An account is personal or professional; you do not share access with unauthorised third parties.
3. Offer, pricing and trial
Available features, usage limits and any pricing are described on the site or in the interface at the time of subscription. We may offer a trial period or limited free access; we reserve the right to end or change those conditions with reasonable notice.
To be completed: prices, invoicing, renewal, cancellation of the subscription, VAT and refunds.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, deceptive or immoral purposes;
- collect or process personal data without a legal basis or adequate information of the data subjects;
- attempt to circumvent security measures, access third-party accounts or overload the infrastructure;
- resell, sublicense or reproduce the Service without written authorisation;
- send spam or abusive solicitations via booking pages.
You remain solely responsible for content displayed on your public page (texts, slots, legal notices towards your own clients) and for processing of data you collect via the Service.
5. Calendar connections and third parties
Connecting calendars via OAuth or CalDAV implies acceptance of the relevant providers’ terms (Google, Microsoft, Infomaniak, etc.). We are not responsible for interruptions, changes or removals of their APIs. You may revoke a connection at any time from your account area.
6. Availability and maintenance
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, updates or incidents at the host or calendar providers may cause temporary unavailability. We endeavour to limit the impact and to inform you when possible.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its code, brand, design and documentation remain the property of the Publisher or its licensors. No assignment of intellectual property rights is made to the User, other than a non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these terms.
8. Personal data
Processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy. When using the Service to receive appointments, you generally act as controller vis-à-vis your clients; Chronoo acts as processor for hosting and tooling, within the limits of applicable law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Swiss law, our liability is limited to proven direct damages and capped, for the last 12 months, at the amount actually paid by the User for the Service, or CHF 100.- if the Service is used free of charge. We disclaim liability for indirect damages, loss of turnover, loss of data attributable to the User or third parties, or unavailability of external calendars.
10. Termination
- You may delete your account or stop using the Service at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate an account in case of serious breach of these terms, non-payment or security risk, with notice where reasonably possible.
- At the end of the contract, access to the Service ceases; data is handled in accordance with the privacy policy (anonymisation or deletion).
11. Changes to the terms
We may amend these terms. Material changes will be brought to your attention by email or in-app notice. Continued use after entry into force constitutes acceptance, subject to opposition within a reasonable period for major changes where the law so requires.
12. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls, subject to mandatory remedies, under the courts of the Publisher’s canton of domicile or, for commercial Users, under the venue agreed in a separate framework agreement where applicable.
